A colleague brought my attention to this frontal attack on the post digital humanities

great stuff !! but as usual a strawman is set up to cut it down
no one is suggesting that the only humanities of interest is quantitative
but the humanities are enriched by enlarging its practices and methodologies
and the big data opens up some new areas
its easy to make fun of specific work like this author does ( a la Sokal but in
reverse)
we need a multiplicity of appoaches in the humanities both quantitative
and non quantitative
