I met him for the first time when I was 10 or 11 years old, half a century ago, visiting his and Marjorie’s home in Paris with my parents. Laid out on a table was the most impressive jig-saw puzzle, some huge number of pieces, all hand cut. And on the walls Frank’s kinetic paintings, the likes of which I’d never seen before. A remarkable man! I’m glad I had the honor of knowing him.
