This is to bring to your attention, if you live in Texas or would like to !, to the Texas HATS network, for all those whose activities intersect the Humanities, Arts, Technology and Science. We have a network site at: http://texashats.org/ and we have been meeting periodically in different cities in Texas ( San Antonio, Austin, College Station.

Please join us for the Spring 2016 TxHATS Network meeting on March 30, 2016!

MEETING

We have an exciting day of events planned. Join us for as much or as little as you would like!

— TxHATS Network Meeting: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Lunch/Refreshments Provided)

— Art Science Evening Rendezvous Event: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM 

— No-Host Dinner (we will “go dutch”) 7:30PM – 9PM — Please rsvp for dinner to let us know how many people to make a restaruant reservation for. 

The TxHATS meeting will feature PechaKucha-style “pitches” from attendees, technology demos, special-interest small working groups, and a panel/roundtable discussion on initiating and sustaining successful academic-industry-community partnerships at the intersection of art, science, humanities and technology!

It will be hosted at University of North Texas at the xREZ Art + Science lab (location information is provided in the RSVP ink). Please RSVP so we can plan for sufficient seating, parking passes and lunch for registered attendees.

EVENING

Our network meeting will be followed by an art + science rendezvous!

Those of you that would like to get together for dinner after the rendezvous concludes, please “rsvp” on the same page you rsvp for the TxHATS meeting so we know how many people to make a reservation for at the restaurant. Note: We’ll be “going dutch” for this dinner.
